Medizinische Fakultät der Universität Augsburg

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Augsburg (UniA) was founded in 2016 and is the youngest faculty at UniA. The concept for the research programme of Augsburg University Medicine is based on two interlinked research focuses, "Environmental Health Sciences" and "Medical Information Sciences". Both focal points are being established in Augsburg for the first time in Germany as central research topics of a university medical centre and draw on existing expertise at the University of Augsburg: Interdisciplinary health research, environmental research and informatics. The Augsburg focus areas are complemented by classic clinical areas such as vascular medicine, tumour medicine and translational research.
